About me: I've waited after an important relationship, & it feels ok to seek a partner with whom our worlds/ways/goals may enrich each other.I'm active, educated formally/experientially; creative.i love good conversation accompanied by smiles/laughter & I'm also a good listener. I'm skilled in several arenas; not rich but "ok". For the next 2/3 months I'm finishing my self-designed anchorage home. Once done, I?m excited about new life-paths that flexible time/attitude,& job-free income may open.I'm a fairly frequent traveler, at home with other cultures, backgrounds- I?ve a tux as well as flannels,& enjoy everything from fine hotels to sea-kayaking in the rain- and PBS mysteries! Spiritual, humbly prayerful, I'm creative, love to play, but don't mind handling the tedious. I'm loyal to friends; into kindness/ communication/ laughter/ intelligence/ spontaneity. I?ve a high regard for ethics/mutual respect, & seek the same in a partner- attractive appearance/sensuality don?t hurt either! I've worked at a number of things: teaching, research, fishing, univ./gov't. admin., entrepreneurship. I enjoy the "fresh eyes" of youth, & like working with them. Oh, I'm a cat person- I?ve 2, mom/son, who are also indepedent, playful & affectionate
I'm looking for: I appreciate a woman who regards herself as intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically attractive; with a ready smile and laughter back there in the eyes..One who enjoys some outdoor activity, and appreciates both the finer cultural and urban things of life; but who can enjoy the simple pleasures of the outdoors and travel as well.. One has a sense of her own competence and independence - but is still open to building deep, close relationships; likes a home-life with a pleasant atmosphere, and simple things. A ready communicator and a good listener! If you have kids, you might be interested to know that is great.. I taught in Bush Alaska and on reservations for several years, like/respect kids and they tend to like me. And, if you don't have kids, we'd just have more time to focus on things together! I greatly appreciate others with strong personal spiritual beliefs, as long as there is an equal respect for my own.
