About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: Gosh, I hate trying to write these things. I don't know what to say about myself. I'm 33. After 10 years in a relationship (8 married) I'm still tryng to adjust to being single. I have red/auburn hair, blue eyes, and a peaches 'n' cream complexion with enough freckles to keep the most avid dot-to-dot enthusiast busy for a long time. I don't consider myself beautiful, but I don't think I'm too hard on the eyes either. I'm a big, beautiful woman and while I am trying to drop a few pounds I'll never be a skinny little cheerleader type. So, if that is what you are looking for you've come to the wrong place. I enjoy the simple things in life and would take a picnic in the park over a fancy restaurant anytime. I'm an affectionate person and not afraid to show it. I need someone who won't shy away if I try to hold their hand or kiss them in public. Anything else you want to know? Just ask!

I am looking for someone willing to be friends first. I am recently divorced and,to be honest, am having a hard time getting back into the whole dating thing. Trust is a big issue with me. So, right now it would have to be friends first, and depending on how things develop, might want to stay friends. I am mainly just looking for someone to talk to and then maybe meet and see what happens. If a relationship were to develop then I would need someone who can offer me stability. I don't need to go out all the time, but it would be nice to have someone who could and would be willing to take me out every now and then. I need someone who is a gentleman and someone who is full of kindness and affection. There are other things that I am looking for, but no need to worry about those till we see where things go ;-)
I'm looking for:: My ideal match...hmmmm....Prince Charming comes to mind....a knight in shining armor...but, in actuality, as long as he is kind, caring, generous, loving, affectinate, honest, trustworthy, loyal and a whole lot of other things (none of those are listed in any particular order). But, most of all he would have to love me for me...and, even I can admit that that's hard to do sometimes :-) But, I think I'm worth it. My Interests

I love to read and when the weather permits (and my schedule) I like to spend time outside reading and writing. I also like to cook, but don't do a lot of it because I don't like cooking for just myself. I love animals, but currently don't have any pets because my apartment does not allow them. The hardest part of my divorce was leaving my 5 dogs behind. I still can't talk about them without getting all teary-eyed....lol...seriously.
