About me:

I am a modest, fairly shy person. I like the simple things in life. I don't crave the high life or anything that's brash and noisy. I am kind and loyal with a good sense of humour and don't feel my age at all. I enjoy playing badminton with a group of friends a couple of times a week and go swimming once a week. I was a Secretary in my working life. It would be nice to have an occasional partner/friend to go to the Theatre with, or to enjoy a meal out, especially on a Saturday when TV is so appalling! I enjoy going to the Cinema and would love to go to the Theatre more. I also enjoy a night in watching TV or a DVD. By nature I am houseproud, tidy and organised. I am still married but am currently separated from my husband. I have a daughter who lives in Tasmania and a son who lives in Milton Keynes. I am not looking for a permanent partner at the moment, just a companion to spend some time with occasionally. I am looking for friendship and companionship rather than a live-in partner. I am gradually getting used to my own space but get lonely sometimes. I'm hoping to find a man who is not part of the pub scene, is interested in friendship, an occasional Saturday night out and a game of badminton perhaps! I am looking for that special person who enjoys simple pleasures and who has a good sense of humour. Perhaps it's you? Although retired I do work occasionally for Age Concern teaching the basics of computing to beginners. I love taking my dog for a walk, meeting friends for a bite to eat or a coffee and listening to Classic FM on the radio. Although I don't attend Church regularly but I do live my life with care and thought to others and am a law-abiding person. Favourite place to eat would be a Chinese restaurant. Or maybe Italian. Small, cosy coffee shops suit me. America was my favourite place to holiday. Would love to go on a cruise around the Caribbean; have never been there and would love to go. Favourite colours are blue and red. I am keen on photography.
