About me: I'm 51yo, retired man born in SE Iowa, raised in NW Iowa in a small Dutch town. Was raised with midwestern values and ethics, and hold them dear today.
I am a semi-professional woodworker which keeps me active and relaxes me at the same time. I enjoy bowling, but haven't participated in a couple years, but would love to get back into it. I am an avid fan of NASCAR, favoring Dale Jr and Tony Stewart.
I enjoy going to the movies, but solo is no fun, as I would prefer it be something to do with my woman. I have a good sense of humor and have been known to come up with some good comeback lines, and a practical joke on occasion isn't beneath me.
I was educated in emergency medicine and the fire services, subsequently working as a firefighrer/paramedic. I held certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), assisting with the performance of surgeries, specializing in plastics/reconstructive and peripheral vascular surgeries. Due to a recurrent back injury and subsequent surgery I was forced to give up the career I loved.
I'm certain there are many items I'm leaving out or missing, but there is a fortunate woman out there who'll be able to fill in the blanks herself. I dislike the bar scene as I don't drink alcohol. I do smoke, but am in the process of attempting to quit.
I am a romantic, and thrive on physical contact, be that holding hands, snuggling, cuddling or just holding one another after a long day.
I'm looking for: The woman I seek will enjoy life, be physically active, and between 40 & 50 yrs of age. She definately needs a sense of humor. It is a plus of she shares my enthusiasm for NASCAR. I prefer she be somewhat educated, somewhere between having some college and holding a PhD. I do not insist upon a models looks or appearnce, but someone who is easy on the eyes is a major plus. If you drink, I prefer it be socially, not habitually, nor daily. I do not mind if you smoke, but once I have ended my days as a smoker, I would prefer you make the effort to quit also. I am also seeking a woman who prefers wearing a dress/skirt, gartered rht stockings and heels to jeans or slacks. Jeans have their place and time, but not a steady diet.
