About me:

Fun-loving, easy-going almost-27 year old woman. Various interests: music, art, shopping/fashion, bar-hopping, trailriding and enjoying the outdoors on a nice sunny day - or even sometimes a rainy one. Have a BA in history. Minored in English & fine arts. I listen to all kinds of music, but my faves are 80s pop, 90s country & alternative, motown, and some local bands as well as a little bit of R&B. I like most dance music, as I really love to dance. I love to read and watch movies. I love pets but don't have any right now. My childhood's been a little different from "normal" people's b/c my mom was in the navy for most of my life; I grew up all over the east coast and even lived in Peurto Rico as a toddler. My parents, especially my mom, think it's important to travel and experience other cultures, so I've been to the Caribbean and Mexico a few times, Europe twice, and I just (finally) went to Hawaii, which is quite unlike any other American-owned island I've been to, believe me. I really love to travel, especially on cruise ships, and I can't wait to go back to the Caribbean and Europe, my favorite places to visit besides Williamsburg, VA. :)

I'm looking for:

I love good-looking men who love animals (but not so much that they're vegetarians.) I really like it when a guy can be mature and serious but also sometimes has the heart and playfulness of a child. I like guys who get along well with children - there's nothing sweeter it seems. I prefer guys that have some sort of religious connection or fairly strong morals. I don't generally get along with democratic liberals as well as conservatives (even though I'm right-wing, I've dated a lot of lefties), and since every single liberal out there now loves our current president, I really don't think I could date one again.
I need a man who, for the most part, knows correct spelling and grammar. [Literature is very important to me, and it saddens me that the English language gets butchered more every day.]
Suffice it to say, I may be one-of-a-kind; and somewhat unfortunately, I am the type of person who needs to be with someone who is a lot like me, which of course is a huge obstacle. But, luckily, my faith in God is pretty strong and I am a hopeful sort of person.
