About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

For a long time my main focus in life was directing film]. I have made about 15 short films, wrote a full length screenplay, and also wrote, produced, directed and starred in my own short play.

However, I am currently preparing to begin school anew, going to Culinary school to be a pastry chef. I am very excited for this new path, as i have always loved to cook and bake.

I am 26 years old and very sarcastic and quirky... I consider myself lots of fun, and have a lot of great, lasting friendships. Ive seen more then 1500 movies, and read an uncountable number of books... I usually read at least 2 books a week, one in text and the other on tape in my car... Im a dork, I know.

I'm currently working on finishing work on my first full-length script, it's a dark, romantic drama with some minor elements of Romeo & Juliet, such as the idea of a "forbidden relationship" between two people from totally different worlds. The main theme is redemption and how a person can change very suddenly because of love, and thus make up for the bad things he has done in his life. It's a very deep project that I have devoted a lot of time to and hope to one day make something big out of.

I'm also trying to get back into working on a very complex and somewhat gutsy science fiction epic... Ive been working on it for 8 years and it's nowhere near completed, but it has some definite possibilities.

I'm very straight forward and sometimes talk a little too much, I don't have any strong filters, i say what I feel and if you're someone who cannot take sarcasm and playful mocking, then it might be best if you move on. If however, you do know the difference between laughing at you and laughting with you, then read on ;-)
