About me:

I am an easy going, caring reliable, honest woman who does tend to be shy at first but once I get to know someone well I'm more at ease and will join in a conversation. I'm also deaf and wear 2 hearing aids so when anyone speaks to me they need to do so clearly and face me when they do speak to me. I have a 23 year old daughter who lives with her fiance and a 14 year old son who lives with me. I like walking and recently walked 9 miles for charity. I also like visiting pubs and coffee shops. I also like shopping though not necessarily to buy stuff, I'm happy just looking. Reading magazines and the occasional book is another pastime I enjoy and when I have the chance I like to cook, mostly roasts. I love having flowers around and I'm attempting to grow my own at the moment.

I'm looking for:

I have just come out of a relationship from which I have learnt a lot and am now clearer in my own mind as to what I am looking for in a relationship. I am not looking for Mr Perfect so guys you don't necessarily have to be perfect. I am attracted by looks at first but in the end if those good looks don't have the personality to match I don't want to know. I'm not talking celebrity good looks either I will know upon meeting a guy whether or not I'm attracted to him. Photos are not necessary. I would like a guy to be reliable in that he turns up for dates and if he can't just let me know. I don't like being messed around so the occasional cancelled date fine but not one after another. Honest. If you don't like me say so I'm not easily offended and I'm grown up enough not to burst into tears when someone says they don't like me. Fact of life everybody has their own preferences so not a problem if I'm not the one for you. Preferably I'd like the guy taller than my 4 10 height though if you're shorter by an inch or two still try we might hit it off. I'm into kisses, cuddles etc in relationship I would appreciate a guy who is also like this. I want a long term relationship and that means work on both sides. I want someone who is willing, like me, to put an effort into making a relationship work and for us to do it as a team where necessary compromise. Age wise 40 -60. I'm not a smoker or a drinker but I don't mind guys who are and if you're a single dad don't worry feel free to reply.
