About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: Hello, my name is Joe. I suppose the best way to describe me is easygoing. I'm generally willing to try anything, and reserve my opinion on something new until I've tried it at least once. I can have fun being serious or utterly ridiculous.
I am shy at first, but get me one on one and I'm more willing to communicate openly. I don't talk a lot, I prefer to listen. Physical contact is important to me, as I tend to be affectionate.
I am a bit of a nerd/geek (is there a difference?). I enjoy tinkering with computers, playing video games (recovering WoW addict), watching the occasional anime, and less frequently reading a manga. I love watching movies, old and new.
Let's see... this just feels too generic. So here's some really random facts about me:

I'm looking for:: ... someone that is willing to work a little to break through my shell and really get to know me. I'm here looking for a serious relationship, but more specifically, a special friend I can spend my time with. I want someone I can share with, respect, laugh with and love; someone I can just hang out with, play games with, watch movies with, cook with and for, go to the movies with, out to dinner with, go mini golfing with, and so on. I'm sure you get the picture.

Hrm, that's not terribly specific and rather abstract. Okay, for a few more concrete points:
I am afraid that smoking is a deal-breaker, sorry.
I find intelligence incredibly attractive and a sharp mind will quickly get my attention. So if you're a well educated girl it won't be hard to pique my interest. (I think this is also why I like women who wear glasses =P)
Okay, so there weren't as many points as I thought there would be... oh well.

My Interests

As I mentioned earlier, I'm fairly easy going and can usually find some way to pass the time no matter the situation. If there's no one else around, internet browsing, video games, drawing, reading or writing are my big pastimes. With a group I'm usually up for anything. I just have fun hanging out, playing board games, play Frisbee, watching movies, or whatever other nonsense we're up to. I also enjoy cooking, so many times our movies are accompanied by cookies of some kind.
