About me: Well, the ab shot didn't turn out for one (I've been thinking about one of those joke-shop plastic six-pack moulds to wear under a tight-fitting T-shirt...but this in effect creates additional 'packs', leaving me with a 'fourteen pack''). I'm not fat...honest, but I'm not skinny. So if 'Chisel Man' is what you're after, I just can't stay that long around other sweaty people in a room lifting stuff for no apparent reason. Try $5 bucks on a wheatgreass smoothy at the entrance of Bubba's Gym's Juice Bar. WARNING: frontal lobe grey matter is not developed in these facilities! I hope you like grunting.
Honestly? I like wildflowers...and fields and walks and hikes and bugs and fish and birds and bioilluminescence and constellations and kayaks and quarks and fuzzy logic and fuzzy navels and quantum particles and open markets in London and flea markets in Duncan (sorry, those weren't in order). I've had quite a life, and I wouldn't trade it for anything (other than a heck of a lot more of it!) I live on the water, want to sail and see more of this good earth but have to plan, which means staying still long enough to do that. I appreciate not being called 'middle-aged'. I'm a kid until I'm dead, and I know too many almost-dead people (it's like a scene from the movie 6th Sense, "I see almost-dead people!!!"). My life is beautiful, even the challenging bits. I share the journey on weekends with my amazing daughter. Just so you know up front. NO expectations. She's got a mom. And for me? I wouldn't have it any other way.
Why am I here? I'm in no rush to dive into a relationship, although a bit of a romantic. But I take it seriously. I'm not the type to 'sleep around' or 'casually date'. I value friendship above all else, and if that is what we discover then that's just fine. I'm not out to change anyone and certainly not out to be changed. Every day I endeavour to be a better person, comfortable in my skin, but company is always nice!
I'm looking for: You like yourself. You appreciate the small things and love life with all its bumps. You love a good laugh, a game of scrabble and talking until 3AM. You're not too judgemental and appreciate listening as much as being heard. You care about your appearance and health but not obsessed with it, and find adventure in the smallest things, but still have a strong desire to see more of this good earth.
