About me:

I'm pretty easygoing and don't seem to show a lot of emotion. The truth is I'm a pretty happy person just a bit introverted. This boils down to preferring small gatherings over large groups and being energized by being alone as opposed to being a a party (for example).

I'm agnostic which (if you're taking notes) means I acknowledge I don't know if there is a higher power or what form he/she /it takes. Who really knows beyond any doubt anyway?

I don't really care what other people's beliefs are as much as what kind of people they are.

I'm currently working in web development at the University of Arkansas. I hadn't really expected to end up in this field. I was studying graphic design when this opportunity came along. I've come to enjoy it a lot more than expected and like the people I work with. Web development and programming can be very frustrating but when what you've done works, it's incredibly satisfying.

I'm looking for someone who's intelligent, has a good sense of humor, and does not follow the herd. Looks are important, of course, but I don't find the current conventional idea of beauty all that appealing. There was a pretty sappy movie, "The Truth About Cats & Dogs", a few years back which was basically a reverse-gender "Cyrano de Bergerac". The Cyrano part was played by Janeane Garofalo (sp?) and the good looking friend/rival was played by Uma Thurman. Uma's supposed to be the "sexy" one in the movie but I was all about Janeane.
