About me:

I'll admit my children have been my world over the years. My oldest is now studying in Italy, and my youngest is still with me (age 13). They have been my children but also my dearest friends. I always told them I was "Mom" (they call me "Mum") first. Our relationship is very close, and I'm extremely fortunate to be blessed with them.

I'm excited now that Spring is a huge step closer, and I will admit winter is not my favorite season. I much prefer getting outside to take some digital photos, or to go sit on a bench and read for a while, and I really miss the ocean. I had lived in California for a few years, and I must admit those years flew by too quickly.

I categorized myself as a BBW, but I'm not sure if that's where I fit. Some have told me to choose "curvy" instead. The problem with these choices of being a few pounds overweight, curvy, BBW and such is that everyone has a bit of a different idea of where those lines are drawn. So, feel free to make your own decision. My two girls tell me I'm not a BBW and so have men I've met over the years. However, I suppose I don't want to understate it and have someone feel I'm not being honest. Eeeek. :-)

I am separated at this time, and I prefer being upfront about that. It took me five years (and the coaxing of my two children), to decide I should permit myself to find love again. I know some may judge me, but I know my situation and the reasons for everything. As you can see by this, honesty means a great deal to me.

The man I would be interested in would understand how important it is to build the loving relationship that would last by having a solid foundation built. It would be pleasant to have some similar interests so we can be the best of everything together. It would be grand if he had the kind of bond with his children, if he has any, as I have with mine. He'd need to be a family man, well grounded, priorities in order, and he'd need to be purely himself. It would be a great plus if this man enjoyed conversations, walking hand-in-hand, cuddling, and being together. I guess I'm hoping to find what I've always wanted in a man, but I don't seek "perfect". I'm not perfect and I don't believe any person can be perfect. Thus, we all have our flaws, and that is what makes us unique. I look forward to him walking into my life. Hmm, where is he? lol
