About me:

I’m an English guy, a very much, ‘what you see is what you get’ sort of person. I don’t have too much time for pretence, but respect honesty, loyalty and fairness. I have been living in Canada for ten years now and am quite settled in the country.

I’m very amicably separated and have one adorable, one of a kind 13 year old son who doesn't live with me. I am fit and healthy, play badminton and have taken graceful retirement from soccer. I enjoy my garden, but time seems to be an issue these days and life is a little socially sedate at present, certainly no parachuting, flying in ultralights, or road rallying, those seem distant memories. However, I do want to make a proper bungee jump over a deep gorge before they nail the lid down on me!!!

I enjoy live music, although I can be a little selective at times and love food, so a combination of the two is always an enjoyable night out. I can't dance, no coordination, although I do find some rhythm for the slow dances - so thankful for small mercies. Travel – I would like the opportunity to travel more, not necessarily to sit on some exotic beach somewhere, but for the experience and education in life that it brings. (Looking outside at the moment, well, perhaps sitting on a sundrenched beach wouldn't be so bad. I'm sure I could sit there for a whole hour if handcuffed to a pole in the sand!!)

I find it easy to laugh and smile, whether it’s warm and friendly is not for me to decide (you can do that) and I certainly have a sense of humour.
I appreciate honesty, loyalty and sincerity, but a bloody good sense of humour is a must, as I find moody people a real turn-off. Contacts with a photo would be appreciated. There it is...nothing flamboyant or high flying, but definitely honest and genuine.

I'm looking for:

Somebody who can be themselves, readily laugh...and must have the patience of a saint,LOL!!
