I'm a tall, lean, dashing, unconventional intellectual who doesn't neglect the physical. Having a uncommonly broad range of knowledge and skills is something in which I take great pride, yet not as much so as the pride taken in being uncompromising on principles and loyal to friends. Throughout life I've usually chosen a different, and often difficult, path, but would not have it any other way. Thus it should not be surprising that my interests and activities aren't the common ones; passive entertainment designed for the masses just doesn't appeal to me when there are are so many real things to do, discover, create, and enjoy. Similarly, the sort of woman who will be most interesting and attractive to me is unlikely to be one who most men would find so.

I'm looking for:

Intelligent, fit/slender, and elegant are the three primary characteristics that I seek in a woman. The last doesn't mean someone who dresses in designer clothes and never has a hair out of place. Rather, she just needs to have a personal sense of style that shows she has enough self-respect to want to look good and doesn't feel compelled to adopt trendy fashions that aren't suited to her -- something that will be evident even if she seldom puts on anything fancier than denim. She should be someone for whom finding/building a good relationship is a top priority in life. She should be looking for a relationship that is about mental, physical, and emotional interaction between the partners, rather than centering on dining, watching movies/plays, sports, or recreational activities. She needs to value a partner and the relationship far ahead of pets, belief in imaginary beings, etc. She should have a passion learning and exploring in both the mental and physical realms and want to share those activities with someone who will appreciate her for her unique characteristics. And indeed, your unusual/unique characteristics -- mental and/or physical -- are what I am likely to find most intriguing and exciting.
