About me:: I am 59 years old (to be 60 on July 16). I have been divorced a good number of years and all my children are grown and on their own. I am easy going and slow to anger. I like to play backgammon/cribbage and spades. I am also a very good cook. I like to fish and read most anything I can get my hands on. I am employed and am able to pay my own bills. I have 4 cats (2 were left with me when my youngest daughter married), a 20 yr old dog and fish.
I believe life is to short to spend it alone, but that does not mean we should just "settle."
I'm looking for:: I would like to find a gentleman in my area who is interested in giving a relationship time to grow. Someone who shares some of my interests and will let me share some of his. I want a man who is laid-back and can deal with lifes little ups and downs without a lot of drama. Appearance is not important to me(however, personal cleanliness is), but being able to carry on and contribute to a conversation is. I would like to find someone who realizes that life is not always going to be easy and it takes work everyday to make a relationship of anykind to work. Being able to love without asking anything but to be loved in return. Someone who has learned to accept himself as he is and is willing to accept me for who I am.
