About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I'm kind of a composite from everywhere I've lived which includes a few of the mountain states, N. Virginia/DC, N. Carolina, and now SoCal. I guess that means that I'm pretty easy going, independent, and not really into the stereotypical LA scene; but not lacking a sense of culture either.

You won't find me waiting in line to get into a trendy club, but I do like to dress up and go out to nice places for dinner now and then. Hanging out at local spots with good atmosphere and friendly company is fun, or just staying in with dinner and a movie.

Since I haven't lived here long enough to see everything, I plan on taking a number of long weekends for road-trips up and down the coast. It may end up being on my motorcycle given the price of gas. Political views aren't too important to me, but I'm more on the conservative side of moderate. I'm the kind of person that can discuss politics, religion, etc with you without being offended by your views or thinking less of you if I don't agree.

I like good conversation over just about anything, except what's popular on TV. I don't really watch TV; nothing against it, I just find it sort of boring.

When appropriate I'm quite affectionate.

I'm looking for:

Someone that is more interested in having fun and trying out new things than trying to be cool. A spontaneous person with a sense of adventure who also understands responsibility. A good girl with a naughty streak, or a bad girl whose trying to be good.

Someone healthy and active - not quite a gym rat, but up for a workout, or the occasional hike in the hills.
