About me:

I am mature; but still have a youthful outlook, I am experienced in life; but still have the ability to approach new experiences with a 'beginners mind'. I am easy going, articulate, spontaneous & carefree, and have a good sense of humour, while recognising the need to be serious when appropriate, and I count my blessings. I believe that life is full of paradoxes, that human nature has a duality that can be like two sides of the coin .. on one hand we want commitment, on the other we want our freedom, we need our own 'space' but we want to be close, we have expectations of a partner, but don't want them to have expectations of us. Everything would be so very simple if we were 'lone' creatures, but we are human and need to 'connect', have fun and joy and someone to share that with.

I'm looking for:

Someone who looks after themselves in mind, body & spirit (so he would definitely not be a smoker) & hopefully taller than myself (5'8 upwards). A true friend who can be 'authentic' and 'real'. I would hope that there would be a 'spark', as chemistry is very important. Someone who is thoughtful, funny, kind, passionate, sensuous, romantic, generous of spirit, a good communicator, and spontaneous. Someone who is happy to be in my company no matter what we are doing. A man who is not afraid to communicate, is kind, tolerant, patient, loyal and who enjoys philosophical discussion, is secure & grounded in the knowledge of who he is. In other words, someone consciously & spiritually aware, & respects the individuality of others. Not 'clingy' or possessive, but secure in his own skin.
