About me: I'm an artist and flute teacher living near the sea in beautiful West Cork, Ireland. I teach flute and I'm a sculptor, making carvings in stone, works often based on ancient art and mythology. I also like to draw and paint. Teaching music to children is a very rewarding job and has taken up most of my working time and energy over the last 6 years. But after letting my creative side wane, I decided to take a year off teaching last year, go travelling and take part in some Buddhist meditation and Kundalini yoga retreats. I have an interest in travel off the beaten track, camping, swimming, wildlife, my herb garden, oriental art, literature, psychology, mythology, history and ancient cultures and enjoy listening to a wide variety of music including blues, rock, classical and world music. I enjoy the sensual pleasures of life: good food and wine, nature and the sea and of course wonderful sex within a loving relationship -the truly intimate kind (along the lines of tantra or tantric yoga) where spirituality and sensuality meet.
I'm looking for: I'd love to meet a creative, sensual, intelligent and open minded woman who understands what empathy means. Someone who combines earthiness & sensuality with a spiritual awareness & intimacy.
Do you have an interest in the arts, with creative inclinations, possibly an artist (even on an amateur level) or musician, dancer or writer, philosopher, health care worker, inspired lawyer or muse?
I would love to meet someone also interested in Buddhism, meditation or yoga as these can help provide a healthy foundation for a good relationship. I am looking for a long term partner but at the very least it will be good to make a new friend and who knows where friendship might lead.....
