Life is like a tunnel There are windows on the way
Through them you see your childhood
And the games you used to play

The windows next you see Reveal your teenage life And further still the windows tell
The day you took a wife The happiness of children born
The pain of friends that die Traveling through this tunnel of life I sometimes want to cry

Further down the tunnel I’v reached my middle age It’s difficult to forecast My future at this stage And further down the tunnel still I’v reached my later years Then suddenly you reach the end And someone’s shedding tears
