About me:

I started this life as a conservative family man. Somewhere along the way I jumped to the other side: in the seventies was your typical hippy, went seeking for my identity by traveling the world trying all types of different life styles and religion. I have finally grown up and have discovered what life is all about, for me. I am retired and have lived in Mexico for 18 years. I have lived with various indigenous groups and have found the experience exhilarating. I earn a good income by teaching English and return to the U.S. each year to be with my son. In ways I am most usual, but I like to think of myself as the perpetual rebel who is socially aware and express his opinion with much enthusiasm.

As part of my life I love to write, draw and paint. I love creating beauty and clarity of ideas. In most ways I am a very positive person. I own everything in my life: my problems, my faults, my successes and failures, my anger my lovingness. I believe we create our own reality: whatever is wrong in life I created it, what ever is right I created it. I do not believe in fate or God, but I do believe in the wisdom and lovingness of the Universe. I make the decisions that create my reality, and I rely upon my inner guide to guide me.

I'm looking for:

I want her to be intelligent, affectionate (but not maudlin), Independent, strong, and trustworthy, and (I am sorry ladies) attractive and in good physical condition. Someone who likes themselves and is and not judgmental and compassionate. And as I described myself, I would want her to share the same values. I would want her to give me my space as I will give her her space. Age is not important, but flexibility and willingness to try new and different things, is important.
