Yes, I am 62 years old, but people are always quite surprised to learn I am that old, whether they had gotten to know me at work or on the volleyball court. Good genes and a pure heart, right? :-) I have sons 24 and 23. I have been divorced since 1999, and although I have dated quite a bit off and on since then, I just have not crossed paths yet with the right woman. Hope dies hard! Meanwhile I have stayed active. I enjoy travel, participating in sports, lately mainly competitive volleyball. Music: classical, rock from 50s to 70s, some 80s, some country & folk, even show tunes. I like most of John Denver's songs. People find me intelligent, reliable, and funny. The right woman will also find me romantic! Although the right woman would always come first in my life and priorities, I am known to be a bit adventurous, having circled the globe over a period of seven months with a backpack when I was 29, hang gliding for ten years[still own equipment and am considering resuming flying again now that kids are grown], had a Kawasaki H2, which was the world's fastest accelerating production motorcycle for many years[currently do not own a motorcycle- you know my sons would then want to ride it, and I don't want them getting hurt!], scuba dive, etc. I am more careful now, but far from being a couch potato. In Dec 2006, I spent a month in Australia, with a couple days in Tahiti, traveling with a backpack like my younger years. I eat healthily and plan to be around a long time! I would relocate if I found that special woman and she could not relocate to my home. Finally, making the most money possible has never come first with me. I am well able to take care of my own needs. But I am not rich, and there are probably women whom I would not be able to support in the manner they would like, but I am also well enough off that you won't have to support me!

I'm looking for:

Loving, attractive, fit, fun-loving, young-at-heart, open, more honest than most people, passionate with the right man, non-smoking, light or non-drinker, drug free. Oh yes, speaks English! No problem if you also speak five other languages! By "fit" here, I must admit I meant "not overweight". It could well be my loss, but I accepted the fact long ago that I simply am not physically attracted to overweight women, perhaps because I have never been overweight. So, you don't have to be able to participate in my athletic activities, but I would hope you could at least hike a few miles with no problems. You should enjoy travel, and be willing to vary it beyond the pre-planned group tour. Would you be excited by the chance to travel off the beaten path? If so, you may get your chance! [I am not referring to dangerous travel, and I do not require camping out. I am actually not much of a camper myself, but do it if that is what the situation calls for.]
