About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: I live in an apartment by myself with 6 wonderful budgies. I am continuing my college education in the fall towards a Horticultural certificate. I also work part-time at the Post second-hand bookstore.

I love nature, plants, animals. I especially love the water and many water sports - canoeing, sailing, kayaking, white water rafting even a row boat.

I love to watch good movies, I love science fiction and fantasy. I loved the Lord of the Rings movies and Spiderman 2.

I have been taking singing lessons off and on and love to sing but am too busy right now.

I also joined the Y for a year to get fit. I love acquasize, am working at yoga, and am taking hiphop/jazz in the fall.

I will eat some meat, but am mostly a vegetarian. However, I like to go out and eat in a nice restaurant.

I love classical music, opera, also soft-rock, folk music, some jazz
I'm looking for:: I would like to become friends with someone and see where that leads. I think you have to become friends first. For me, that means being platonic. I'm not looking for one night stands.

I would appreciate a person who has a great sense of humour, who has fun but isn;t afraid to work hard.
I not looking for the Arnold Swartzenhager by any means, but it would be nice if the person were 'somewhat' fit. A few extra pounds, no big deal. I'd like someone who wasn't afraid to look at themselves, and to want to keep growing as a person till the end of their life. I'd prefer someone who wasn't really religious - more agnostic.
I'd like someone who is sensitive and kind and wants to do good in the world.
