About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: Based loosely on ME TALK PRETTY ONE DAY by David Sedaris, my life has been all over the map -- and has found a central theme in recent years. Before age 20 I toured five continents and recorded as a violist with different groups. I earned a Bachelors degree in Viola Performance. After a concert tour in China '01, I was so appalled at humanitarian issues, that I decided to drop everything and go to nursing school and receive a Bachelor of Science. I was a critical care / trauma nurse AKA hours-of-boredom-moments-of-sheer-terror-meister. However, I enjoyed working with kids and their families so much and found a niche with medically fragile kids. I'm earning my masters in Elementary Special Ed @ Evergreen through the MIT program. One day, I want to live/work on some island in WA.

Some of my interests are archaeology, kayaking, spelunking, anthropology, drawing/painting, bio/o-chemistry, urban exploration, sex, chess, hiking in the Pacific NW rainforest, kissing!, traveling, and doing something everyday that scares me

I'm a Lifeguard and swim 2 hours a day 6/wk faithfully. I get bitter if this addiction changes routine.
