About me: California girl raised in San Diego with a 3 year layover in Hawaii. Migrated to the Bay area in '93, and then further north to Redding in '05. Divorced in '98 and have 2 grown sons who do not live at home. I enjoy doing a wide variety of things like boating, hiking, bike riding, dancing, traveling, but it's been awhile since I've done any of this because I divorced the dance partner/boat owner...lol So I'm needing a refresher course on what it's like to have fun. Most of my free time has been spent on my recently purchased old house, but I'm always willing to take a play break. I'm willing to try new things, just need someone to do them with, could it be you? I have a giving heart, & put myself 101% into a relationship. I’m also a pretty decent kisser (so I’ve been told, I've also been told that I look to be in my 30's - cover the age thingy and tell me how old you think I look). I’m looking for a relationship that’s going to last and make it through good times and bad, a relationship full of love and commitment, where I don’t have to worry about where I stand with you (interprets as security). I also need a relationship that has intimacy, holding hands, kissing, and if you’re comfortable with more physical (and the attraction is running both ways) then I can be comfortable with that too. If the physical needs to wait until marriage, that’s alright too, and shows me your integrity. Just don’t freak out on me if we slip.
I'm looking for: If you're ready for a relationship then are you the type who knows how to communicate, and keep your priorities straight? Can you be serious when needed, playful when needed (and know the difference). Can you be protective without being condesending? It'd be great if you like to stay active & want a partner. Knowing how to two-step (or willing to learn) would be a big plus (but not absolutely necessary). It'd also be nice if you could be someone who's on my side when I'm trying to catch one of life's curve balls, be there through whatever. Maybe even who know how to fix "it", or at least be patient while we try to figure it out together.
Physical attraction (both ways) is a must, so guys, please have a photo published or be willing to send one. I tend to like for the guy to be in control of the physical side of our relationship, but once in awhile I like to get things started. Can you handle that?
