About me:: A little about me...I'm a hammered dulcimer player, drummer, mom and grandmother and my life is pretty complete. When I'm not being a musician I help out at a group home working with adults who have developmental disabilities. I moved from the midwest to the Appalachian Mountains and love it here. Moving away from this areas would likely not be an option. While I love the great outdoors and the mountains I am also pretty comfortable in the city and spend a lot of my time there with friends, playing music, or just being (preferably outside). Winters do little for me...I love the sun. I have a grown daughter and two grandkids who are still in the midwest, who I don't get to see often enough. Music and artistic/creative energy are what my I've chosen to devote the most time and energy to, but I miss having someone to more intimately share all the wonders of life with.
I'm looking for:: Being the center of someone's universe does not interest me nor will I put anyone else on that kind of pedestal. Finding a partner who shares my fundamental viewpoints and is a musician would be ideal, but it is not essential that you be a musician...as long as being a creator and a healing force in life is your desire and intent. All else is icing on the cake.
