I enjoy socializing so I ought to enjoy city life but the noise and pollution get in the way. Apart from that cities are becoming dangerous and expensive. So, I live in the country where I can enjoy nature, where the peace and quiet allow me to think. My education is largely English literature. Nevertheless, my interests (at present) are designing Japanese houses, science and computing. I read a lot and I have an active interest in politics. I like women who like men. I'm not so keen on the narrow feminist type. And of course they tend not to be all that keen on me. I consider sex without love boring and love without sex unbearable. The oak leaves reflect the light so they appear silver while the rest of the tree is black. Leaves on the ground reflect the moonlight in a similar way while the moss is black. The overall effect; a silent, monochrome landscape of silver and black with only the hooting of owls for company was magical. One might have been in some other star system. France is a perfect place for bicycling and given the way oil prices are going I expect we will all be giving up our cars sooner rather than later. Once I'm settled I will do a lot of my local journeys by bicyle.

I'm looking for: I'd like to find a sensible woman who enjoys life and has enough inner reserve to be happy in the country. I particularly value an active mind and a generous nature. I believe it is important to keep reasonably fit otherwise the physical enjoyment of life begins to fade. I guess this is a rather broad description.
