About me: Have you heard the expression "you don't stop playing because you get old; you get old because you stop playing". Well, I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet. The kids have left the nest and I would love to meet a gentleman who is motivated to get out and do things. Yes, just hanging out can be fun if the company is right. But, there's so much to see and do, right here in our own beautiful British Columbia, as well as the rest of the world. I just returned from a wonderful week in Cuba. This was just one of the many places I'd like to eventually visit. I am young-at-heart - I don't feel nor act my age. I am very independent, having raised 2 children by myself. I have a good sense of humor and try not to take myself too seriously. I enjoy good times with family and friends. I am honest and trust-worthy. I try to treat people with respect and appreciate the same in return.
I'm looking for: I'm attracted to a man with a good heart and a great sense of humor. Life is too short to be too serious all the time. I'm sorry, but I am not attracted to a man who smokes. I believe an ideal relationship is built on mutual respect, honesty and trust. One should also never underestimate the importance of chemistry. That chemistry thing - or lack thereof - is bound to become an issue at some point down the road of any relationship. I would like to meet someone with whom I can share activities and friends - not all activities and not all friends, but enough to feel as though we are connected to each other's worlds.
