About me: I enjoy the freedoms available in Alaska, and have lived here for 37 years. Built a couple homes, and am in the process of building my retirement home on ten acres surrounded by extraordinary views. I hunt small game, fish, and garden for much of my food; heat and cook with wood, produce my own electric power, and raise some small livestock. My land is rural, but not remote; it is, however, secluded and peaceful. There is a lot of wildlife here, bear, moose, wolf, etc., which I enjoy photographing. My constant companion, and "early warning system", is a German Shepherd/Labrador mix named Jack.
I'm looking for: I'm hoping to meet a woman not afraid to try "Frontier" living. She would enjoy the outdoors and being close to nature without all the hangups our modern society imposes on us with city living. Being able to enjoy building things from "scratch" would be a plus!
