About me:

I believe successful relationships begin with strong friendships. Friendships are best when they are characterized by trust, honesty, conflict resolution skills, active listening skills, and wit. Once those are established the rest is easy.

I like camping, hiking, driving around just to see what's out there, watching scary movies, watching how Shakespeare's plays are interpreted by modern producers, eating in just about any kind of restaurant (the strange and campy ones are the best, though), and talking for hours and hours.

I have multiple sclerosis. I wear a leg brace that normally isn't visible (well, unless I wear shorts!). I'm sensitive to heat but I have a variety of cooling clothing items that make me comfortable outside in the heat. I nap once or twice every day. I've had MS for 22 years so this isn't a new thing that makes me want someone to take care of me. It just exists. That's all.

I have four on-line stores and I write on-demand for two websites.

I'm looking for:

He's bright, funny, fun, confident in himself and able to grapple gently with his baggage so it doesn't set the tone for our relationship. He also has every right to expect the same from me. He has to be taller than I am but that's not hard; I'm actually only 5' 2-3/4" tall. I don't like little skinny guys; I like guys I can burrow into with hugs and who can wrap themselves around me in those hugs. Some facial hair is fine, but huge beards are icky. Living close to me would be nice, but I have a car and will meet halfway.
