About me: Soon I'm going to retire, move to my cabin on Lake Superior, live like HDT and travel like Huck. I grew up near Lake Superior and am returning home after nearly 40 years away as soon as my youngest (she's a junior in high school) goes off to college. Paddling, peddling, hiking, and battling brush are my favorite outdoor things. Books, movies, and swimming are my favorite indoor things.
