About me:: Down to earth, realistic, fun-loving, sometimes goofy, sometimes workaholic, slightly out of shape - need someone to walk/hike with who can put up with my crazy dog. Love music, can't dance. Like hiking, walking on beach, camping - anything in nature. Comfortable at the symphony or camping by the river. Read, listen to music, movies in downtime. (not a teacher, but librarian wasn't an 'occupation' option!)
I'm looking for:: Would like someone to spend time with, share life's experiences, someone who can be themselves around me (and me around them). Companionship would be great - if it turns into romance, etc, even better. Don't like condescending people, snobs, control freaks, meanies, blamers, whiners, etc. Believe in personal responsibility. Need someone who can be his own person while sharing his life with me. Able to communicate his needs/wants and willing to consider mine. Listener. Non-judgmental (to the extent that that is possible) and open-minded. Someone who will share the serious times and the playful times. Acceptance, kindness, and stability. Realistic in expectations, able to admit that none of us are perfect. Someone who is willing to try their best and expect the same from me. Someone who can live in the moment and enjoy life for what it is.
