Just Me

About me:: I moved from North Carolina to the Houston, TX area in November of 2008. I have a very outgoing personality, with a great sense of humor! Oh and YES I do have a southern accent, but can't figure out where that came from, LOL.
I have a 23 year old son who I am very proud of that got out of the AirForce last year and is currently in nursing school in North Carolina.
I like outdoor activities, fishing, slow hiking, boating, horseback riding, nascar, baseball, motorcycle riding (if I am the passenger) etc I'm not saying I have to be doing something all the time .. I am perfectly happy sitting at home with that someone special watching a good movie in my slouchy clothes.
I have 2 dogs and 3 cats .. 1 of the dogs and all of the cats were rescues. Love to go to new places and see new things.
I'm looking for:: My ideal match would be someone with the same interests as I have, wants to be my best friend first and is not totaly hung up on someones looks. Looks are not everything .. it is what comes from within a person. Just because someone looks good doesn't mean they are a nice or caring person.
A down to earth man, not a player, but someone that will be caring and considerate of others would be perfect!!
