About me: I'm outgoing, down to earth and smiling almost all of the time. I like to kid around alot (not at the expense of hurting anyone's feeling). I'm extremely loyal to family and friends.
I thrive on positive energy. When it's not there, I did deep for it. I am very grateful for what I have in life.
Six years ago I took a job that has me active in community action programs. I like feeling that I do work that helps people. When my kids were growing up, being dad was clearly my defining role in life. I loved doing everything with them. I'm very nurturing and not at all macho. All three have come to be confident, kind and very interesting adults. These are qualities I admire in people and seek in a partner.
Rain, shine, snow, ice, Bessi and I walk at least an hour daily - 365 days. When close to home, my favorite places are Round Valley and the Ken Lockwood Gorge.
Since I love the arts, I treasure that NYC is so close.
