About me:: Passionate, creative, serious, welcoming and risk-taking about my work and life. Spontaneous. Loyal and fun-loving with my friends. Love my home/2 cats AND travel. Spiritual, open and open-minded, I tend to be gregarious and inclusive socially and at work, where I excel at building teams of varied folks and talents. My friends are eclectic and are from EVERYWHERE and all love to eat! Thus cooking also is a pleasure. Single long enough after long marriage that produced two beautiful, bright children now on their own. Love my life, family and friends. Open, however, to fun and discovering new friends along the way! Energetic and too busy and outgoing just for TV; love MUSIC (jazz, blues, classical, pop and more), reading, movies, theatre, dance shows and dancing, dining out, long conversations, sharing personal stories, travel, swimming, hiking, flowers, spice, romance and surprises! I love learning (life's a journey!) and meeting new people. Member of local jazz/blues club where I like to hang out. Love dancing; it is soul restorative plus just plain fun! Do it almost every week!

The ocean, southwest and mountains all call to me; but I can't live without embracing/being embraced by the ocean at least a couple weeks a year!! And now reacquainted with land of my birth, I also enjoy visiting the desert frequently as well, drawn by the wide open spaces (an inland ocean?) and the incredibly beautiful colors of rocks, canyons and mountains.
I'm looking for:: Open to whomever can match my vitality and openness to life regardless of age. I still believe in love despite the disappointments one can experience along the way.
