About me: I'm among the many who never thought they'd find themselves single again...(blah, blah, blah - I don't need to explain it, I'm sure). You're not aloud to "quit", so you keep moving forward. I really loved the married-with-children life, and wish it would have been forever. I'm a hard worker fixing up an older home, working a full day and taking GOOD care of two teenagers (one with special needs which just adds to the "fun".) Fun for me is working in the yard or fixing something on the house then sitting back to admire it until it's too dark to see. I Like to speak/study French, current events, guitar, sketching, activities with the kids, time with old friends and a nice evening out, but there's usually not alot time to do them. We go to church every Sunday and I enjoy it. I find that I like to do a little of everything, but there's not any one thing that I'm obsessed with. I'm even-keeled and understanding. I love puns and, okay, I admit it...I can play the accordion!
I'm looking for: Parlez-vous francais? Please have a fun sense of humor, laugh easily and be a decent guy with some old-fashioned values. No grumpy old men! I really love to listen if you have thoughts on the world, ideas to share or if you don't hold all those feelings inside, etc., though I have a hard time with someone TOO opinionated (who's always right!) I admire someone who is self-sufficient, handy, educated, has common sense and is also understanding...and if you sing out loud (well or not) and/or if you're a poet, that's just icing on the cake.
