About me:

My name is Kristina and I am currently a senior at Grand Valley State University. I will graduate in December with a major in Social Studies and a minor in Elementary Education. I just returned from a study abroad program in South Africa where I taught a combination of preschool/kindergarten in what they call Grade R. I loved teaching there and hope to return one day. Not only was teaching there amazing but traveling around the beautiful country increased my desires to travel around the world. I am a very family oriented person. I love my family and spending time with them. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is to go sailing with my dad. I grew up in a house were we had dinner together as a family every night and I hope that is something I am able to do with my family. Speaking of dinner I love to cook! I love trying new things and I try to always keep it healthy as I am a health nut. I love being active and although going to the gym is not my favorite thing in the world I try to get there 5 times a week. I love taking my dogs for a walk after dinner or going for a long bike ride. This world is so beautiful and I think most people are too busy to take notice of all the wonders it holds. I am really big into the “green movement” I feel it is important to protect our world for the generations to come. I am very old-fashioned in my believes and have high morals and values.
