About me: I am a very active person with a lot of job history. I have been a cook, mechanic (I'm good), pilot, harpist, commercial artist, farmworker, and whatever else will pay the rent. I love the backcountry, books, hiking, camping, folk music. I am not good at partying, crowds, cities, or noise in general. I think watching birds is pretty exciting. I am still pretty lukewarm about electricity and all the complications that creates in a home, though I do like refrigeration. I haven't had a TV in 15yrs and don't miss it. I do love to cook, tramp through the woods in all weather, hang out with friends, and have coffee in neat little cafe's and general stores. I am living on a boat because I have to work out of Boston for a while, and I'll be damned if I will live in the city. The terns make great neighbors. Besides, I really like living on a boat
I'm looking for: Loves the outdoors, lives, or wants to live, in northern New England, Canada, or Alaska. Not too bad a slob.Cares about health and fitness without being obsessive. Not fat and not too plug ugly, but hey, looks are negotiable. It's ok if he's a clothes horse, as long as he doesn't expect much from me in that department.
