About me:

An ordinary guy, I am sincere, honest and truthful, good company, good sense of humour. I am involved in community development. This is a challenge – an opportunity as JFK might have said. I am intelligent and read profusely (John Grisham). I am articulate and self-confident. I do not drink, smoke or take drugs.
Missing in my life is a special lady to love. It would be enchanting to share intimate chemistry - dreamlike and fantastic moments of emotion, love, affection - caresses, hugs, kisses, smiles, laughter, listening, words of comfort. Such moments are more rewarding when shared with a loved one – beautiful spontaneous moments of love,and knowing that someone loves you - often manifested in unexpected presents, hugs, kind words and gestures, hearts beating with excitement and love on thinking/seeing each other. I think of this inscrutable yet special lady as my soul mate and best friend.
I come from a rural background. I love animals and the rural ambience of fresh air, nature, and wildlife e.g. pheasants. My interests include Theatre, reading, history, politics, walking, Travelling (I have visited Paris, Prague, etc.). I enjoy arts, culture, country music and most sports. I like people and respect cultural diversity. I respect the opinions of others while remaining steadfast to my own beliefs. People that I admire include Lady Diana, J F Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul, Irish musicians Enya and Phil Coulter, author John Grisham, actor John Wayne, actress Julie Andrews, singer Don Williams, footballers George Best, Ryan Giggs, etc. These are people of moral courage, intelligence and charisma. 3rd World Development appeals to me e.g. I have sponsored a lad in Kenya for many years. In any relationship, I'd expect to give more than take. I have a strong Catholic faith that I practice. I firmly believe that the soul is central to a loving relationship, - caring and unselfishness. I hope to meet an exceptional lady with whom to share love, kindness, and happiness. Our relationship would be based on trust, kindness, caring and honesty. I would love and care for her, be faithful and loyal. Financially solvent, I want us to plan our dreams for the future – supporting each other at all times. I look forward to us watching flames chasing each other inexorably up the chimney - comfortable and happy in the trust, friendship and love of our relationship. I imagine us going to the theatre, to a Restaurant, entertaining friends, going for a walk along the long beach near my home at sunset, or walking along the hills nearby. I seek a lady with respect, honesty, kindness, romantic nature, etc. She will bring interesting things to the relationship e.g. her own ideas, curiosity, shared interest, chemistry and charm. She will contribute as much to the relationship as I will, while I respect her independence of mind and soul. I would prefer a lady whose religion is Christian/Catholic, as I have a strong faith in God. I am not fastidious as regards looks, etc. I admire ladies with style and elegance, but the values that I mention, the real person, and inner self are most important.
