About me:

I'm a returning visitor. It's been awhile and I mainly come here to swap jokes and riddles. I really enjoy talking with members from overseas, especially the British Isles and Australia.

I like 'classic' country (Eddy Arnold and Merle Haggard), swing (Big Bad Voodoo Daddy), Irish rock (Flogging Molly and Great Big Sea), current country, and a smattering of a little of everything.

I rarely watch TV, but I like NCIS and the CSIs (Vegas is best New York the least.) I like Bugs Bunny and the rest. I DISlike Reality shows.

The movies I like are as varied as the rest of me. As are the books I read.

I'd rather read than watch tv just about anytime, preferably while listening to the radio.

Anything else you want to know, just ask, I'm pretty open. I am not the most attractive man here, but I am very caring and loving. I do not cheat and run around, but I have female friends that I spend time with when I can. (Most are in relationships of their own.)
I do not use drugs, never have, never will. I will not tolerate it around me and my house.
I do not go to bars or clubs. My friends prefer to hang out around the house watching tv or playing games. I do drink once in awhile and like various wines.
I do know what a hard day's work is, and have a job.
I like kids, but am really not looking for single moms right now. I have none of my own, but am very close to my ex's children.

I'm looking for:

I've been hurt pretty bad, several times. I like to be in relationships. While I sometimes envy my friends who seem to be in a contest to see how many women they can bed, it is not me or what I want.

I'm looking for someone intelligent and attractive. And not just physically attractive, I'm looking for a good person.

I'm a little tired of women who have to be the center of attention all the time, even to the point of creating strife just to have something to be talked about.

While I do not always have to be number one in your book, I should come before mooching friends, ex-husbands, and family you can't stand.

I'd like to find a woman that knows what the 'magic' boxes in the laundry room are for. (The boxes that make clothes clean.) Or the one under the sink that sanitizes dishes.

I'm to the point where I really don't want to live with anyone anymore. I got real tired of living in an episode of "Clean House".

I am really not a neat freak, but I like having a home that has the initial appearance of being clean and orderly. A sink full of dishes irritates me to no end, especially when I haven't used any of them. I believe that the kitchen should be cleaned when you cook and then dishes done after you eat, not when you get around to it.

I do not want someone that has to always have house guests living with them. Family in distress is one thing, but always having other people in your house makes for an uncomfortable relationship. (Not talking about real room mates.)

I am looking for a happy, outgoing, person that loves living life simply. Someone that knows what a sunset is. I like the outdoors, and love to drive and travel.
