About me: I'm ashamed to admit five years ago, I scheduled my life around what TV shows were on in the evening. (I know, I know, how pathetic!). So, I made a resolution to not take on any more TV shows and only watch the ones I had already committed to. So, while I was sad to see Alias, Gilmore Girls, and Crossing Jordan leave the air, I was a bit happy. I still have a couple years of TV watching left since I am still involved with Lost, Boston Legal and Survivor. However, I 'm happy to report I've steered clear of Heros, Gray's and Dancing w/ the Stars! Yes, it sounds like an addiction, but I take my "me-time" seriously! (Ok, not really that seriously, but I will video tape my shows to watch them later when I'm not home. )
So, how do I fill all those hours with all my new found time? Well, I work out. I added a personal trainer to my week and now I run. Yup, I'm a runner. A year ago I could only jog 90 seconds on a treadmill. Now it's no big deal to go for a 7 mile run and the thought of a marathon excites me. Hoping to complete my 1st one next summer. I'm not a speed-demon runner, but knowing I can run 13 miles at a time is new and exciting to me.
I LOVE movies! I didn't get to see many as a kid since I grew up in a small town (1 stop light) but I appreciate good movies like my newest favorite Facing the Giants. Have you seen it? I attended my 1st Milwaukee International Film Festival last year and I'm a huge fan of the Oriental Theater!
A goal of mine in life is to visit all 50 states by the time I'm 50. I'm right on track and need to map out which state is next.
Random fact to know about me: I didn't get my ears pierced until after I graduated from college because I was afraid of the pain.
I'm looking for: I find describing what I'm looking for difficult. I know it when I feel it, but putting that into words is hard. Here goes: I'd like my man to be passionate about something (a hobby or his career perhaps), he would not smoke and care about his health, he would not have children yet, but would want a family someday. I tend to like smart funny witty guys. Oh, a fellow Christian would be nice. I need a man who could tell me to be quiet when I'm talking too much and also cheer me up when I'm being too hard on myself. I'm naturally drawn to entrepreneurs who have no limit thinking and are extroverts. Major pluses to those who enjoy movies, self-improvement, roller coasters, and cats.
