About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: I am self-employed and share my home with three fun loving, well-adjusted cats and my beloved ten year old medium sized mixed breed dog. All were “unwanted” animals but that’s far from the case now.

We live on a moderate sized piece of land which has taken me years to reforest with conifer trees. The setting is quite rural now and with the deer, rabbits and other wildlife which visit, it sometimes makes my gardening endeavors quite a challenge. Even so, a rigid “no hunting” policy is strictly and actively enforced by yours truly as I have a deep rooted respect for all living things.

I enjoy regular moderate exercising with helps my keep my interest in buffet dining in good balance. So far, I’m enjoying life without a spare tire which only belongs in the trunk of a car. I also enjoy home cooked meals and am willing to help with both the preparation and cleanup.

Other enjoyable activities include conversation, casual bike riding, lite hiking with nature observation, camping, swimming, rental boating, skating and much more. Indoor recreation often includes music enjoyment in surround sound, weight lifting or reading, etc.

PERHAPS MORE IMPORTANT, HOWEVER, IS THAT I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT LIFE IS ABOUT WIDE SCREEN TELEVISION SETS OR FANCY NEW CARS. LORD KNOWS, MY CAR IS FAR FROM FANCY OF NEW. GRANTED, THESE THINGS ARE NICE IN THEIR OWN RESPECT. NEVERTHELESS, TO ME, THE PINNICLE OF A PERSON’S EXISTENCE IS THE PRIVILEGE OF SHARING ONE’S LIFE WITH A QUALITY COMPANION WHOM YOU LOVE. IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU MAY BE DOING TOGETHER. THIS MAY INCLUDE THE MOST MUNDANE CHORES OF LIFE LIKE HOUSE CLEANING, FOOD SHOPPING OR PROBLEM SOLVING, ETC.

I CONSIDER MYSELF A QUALITY PERSON AND DELIGHT IN THE THOUGHT THAT MY IDEAL COUNTERPART MAY BE READING THIS RIGHT NOW. MAYBE WE CAN ATTAIN THE PINNACLE OF LIFE TOGETHER!!
