About me and who I'm looking for

About me:

I am an early-20's female looking for distance myself from my past attempts at love. I am looking for another woman between the ages of 20-25 preferably, but have set my "range" to include older. Just in case.

I am a sports fanatic. I mainly am interested in lacrosse and football (NFL.) I have been known to go to a few baseball games in my life but normally only when I know the home team is going to lose. Its more exciting to be on the "outside looking in" rather then be a fan of the home team.
If you know absolutely nothing about the sport of lacrosse, that's fine with me. If you'd like to learn, all you have to do is ask ;)
But if you know the sport and don't care for it, that's fine too. You have your opinion and I won't try to change it.

My second main interest is music. I would love to learn how to play guitar, and am currently trying to save up enough money for lessons and a guitar of my own.
Bassists own a special part of my heart. No matter who they are or how talented they are. Just the fact that they play bass, it gives them that "something special" in my eyes.
Its a long story but if you'd like to know why I have a fascination with bassists, then please ask.

I have recently begun to read books again. And yes, I am aware of how odd that sounds. I just recently finished re-reading "The Princess Bride." I absolutely fell in love with the novel in high school and recently bought myself a copy after a few years of looking for it.

I have two cats, and two dogs. My cats are my life. I would not give them up for the world. Not even for a million dollars.

I am a journalist at heart. I am a perfectionist as well. I daydream quite frequently and can get lost in thought.

I hate smoking. I have drank twice in my life.
I hate cancer. Seriously.
I have seen enough family members and friends die from it in 20+ years and would not wish that pain on my worst enemy.

I'm looking for:

I am looking for someone who will be honest and trustworthy. Someone who understands that I don't like promises as they are made to be broken. I sometimes find it hard to express myself verbally but, am a really good writer and sometimes use my fingers to do the talking. Someone who understands and has patience with that would be a great bonus.
