About me: Hi! I'm an honest, harworking individual. For me, sincerity is an absolute. I've been described as a "people person," and I like meeting new ones. I'm a part-time pro bassplayer, performing live and recording for many years. Unfortunately harder to play gigs when daily responsibilities get in the way (lol). We're called The Thunderkatz. I need about 6 hours of sleep -otherwise I wouldn't know my name during daytime hours!(lol) My 17-year-old daughter is the light of my life, and we visit whenever she has can fit me into her schedule. She lives with her remarried Mom in a City about one hour away, and everything is totally civil among all adults. At least my daughter and I chat, and she knows she's always welcomed anytime- more importantly, we have unrehearsed coversations, and genuine fun when I do get to see her. Often that's just for breakfast somewhere, or just a coffee, or, just walking around and talking about school, friends, and just "stuff." It's very important to me that she knows that I wish to be a part of her life, and I think she has faith in that. I enjoy reading-science especially(my diplomas are computer and environmental), or SCI-FI.
For the past 7 years I've worked for a major financial entity. Unfortunately was laid off in May due to economic performance. Thus, I have returned to school-this time to study a human discipline; this time in College it's for me too-not just to get a job. I can't believe semester one is almost over now. I feel good about moving in a positive direction, (lots of homework though!:o)) If you would like to say hi, and perhaps chat over a coffee, that would be great. I hope that some day we chat exchange correspondence if would like.

I'm looking for: You're a lady who shares my basic values for friends and family. You might like just going out for a coffee, and talking about what's going on in the world, or in our respective lives, or whatever, really.
You're a lady who doesn't mind other people caring about her-not to control, but be "there for"; did you know that hugs have magical qualities to help friends through tough times, or just to convey a feeling? Yes, I want the incredible feeling of loving someone, but equally to share good and bad times with; accomplishments and the "not-so-great" days we all have. You enjoy just being outdoors- maybe like to cycle? It would be fun to stop our ride for an ice cream cone perhaps? Maybe in the fullness of time, you'd allow me to cook you dinner in my apartment- I'm no chef, but my slow cooker is like a personal friend (lol), and I make super ribs and brownies. Or, we could just relax with a DVD, or just talk over candlelight. People can never have enough friends, but if we are really lucky, perhaps we would find "sparky stuff" too. I know that friendship is the basis of any relationship, so maybe we would be lucky enough to forge one. Hope we can have that conversation sometime, but take care until then, take care!
