About me:

I have spent my life close to nature, usually gardening and having pets. I raised a large family, finished college at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. I lost my husband awhile back and really want to share life again with an easy going, nature-loving happy man in similar circumstances. I own a foresty place near water with great sunsets. I love B.C. and the northwest in general. I raise small (not yappy)dogs. I would enjoy some travel but really am happy at home gardening, doing good cooking from scratch, etc. The best things in life really are free to me and fulfillment comes from taking responability for health and attitude. Would love to snuggle down in a cozy natural situation with a bright, happy who knows how to be close. I have and love a sense of humor, books, intellectual "play". Crafts, art and music have always been part of my life. I am good at being affirming and supportive of others.

Would love to meet a man who has some real passion about what he loves and has a long term relationship with gardening, animals, children and other natural things. It would be great if he would actually enjoy doing fix-it type things around the house, might like to build gardens including water gardens and could embrace canoeing/kayaking, loves the beach, woods, camping, etc. and just being at home doing domestic things like cooking, gardening, preserving food, etc. Love should be a two-way supportive thing so I seek a mature and giving man who wakes each day glad to be alive.
