About me: I am a fifty-three year old black man who,though bookish, is interested in cross country skiing, hunting, and hiking. If I have a passion for anything it's animals, especially horses. I used to work for a veterinarian and one of my duties was caring for the horses that were either sick or were boarders. People who meet me say that I'm reserved or aloof. Not true. The reason why I don't talk much is due to my wanting to know more about the person that I am with. Not hearing the sound of my own voice. I am modern in many ways but I tend to be a bit old fashioned without being a fuddy duddy.
