About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: Hi, if you are reading this you must feel the same way that I do! At this age where do you meet people? So, here goes. I want to be with someone that wants to be in a relationship, not needs to be. I am fine being alone, but there are so many times that miss being with that special person in a committed relationship. I am a caring and compassionate person who would like to meet someone that could respects me as I respect them, and not try to change me as I wouldn't try to change them. I am looking for someone to enjoy life with and have some fun. To take things one day at a time and as they come. To listen to their problems and they listen to mine. To share the good and the bad. It's great to know that you have someone to count on, someone that has your back, that would make me happy.
I am financially stable and am looking for the same. I am not into fancy frilly things, I am a T-shirt/jeans person. I lead a "comfortable" and uncomplicated lifestyle, so I dress accordingly. I enjoy gardening, poking around thrift shops, fishing, picnics, yard sales, short and long drives and being outdoors in the summer. Enjoy cooking a great meal for someone that will appreciate it, as long as they will help with the dishes! Sorry, I don't dance and I like light rock music, but will listen to most anything. I tend to stay in by the fire and catch up on indoor things and my reading in the winter. Like most all animals, have a cat at the present time.
