About me: I am old enough to have accumulated at least some wisdom and a child at heart, appreciating life and its wonders. My friends know me to be warm, friendly and a hopeless romantic who pays attention to physical, emotional and spiritual fitness. I love nature, (hiking or biking or just watching a sunset with a good friend) reading (including biography, politics and novels), cultural things (especially classical concerts or jazz at a small club) and dancing (including rock, salsa and more) and international travel (when it isn’t too “touristic”). Life is especially beautiful when friends cook a simple dinner together and enjoy it with red wine and good conversation (and plenty of humor). After demanding work overseas for 8 years, I’m looking forward to having a home base in the US this year – wherever that might be -- perhaps in a college town or by the sea (but may keep my apartment in Italy for occasional use). For now, I’d love to find a compatible pen pal, and if it slowly develops into something more, great. My views are moderate to left and don’t match with arch-conservatives.
