About me: Bold, vivacious and love sports. I thrive on expressing myself in many ways - talking, dancing, singing, etc. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, trying new things, enjoy most outdoor activities and love science and nature. My hobbies include belly dancing, rock climbing, amateur astronomy... but lately I seem to spend most of my free time going to or watching sports - hockey, baseball, college football and basketball, etc. Just got back from the Stanley Cup Finals - went to games 4, 5 (the 3OT game) and 6 (saw the cup!). I wouldn't turn down a weekend in the wine country or night out in the city, but that was REALLY my idea of a fantastic vacation (although, my upcoming trip to Australia will hopefully top it). Despite how much I love sports, I also try to make time for other things, particularly spending time with my family and friends (which often overlaps with sporting events) or getting outside for a walk in the woods or on the beach, or just sitting on the porch watching the birds or reading a book. I'm on this site just to increase the chances of meeting some cool people to hang out with, go to ballgames or hiking or just have a drink... and if more comes of it, that's cool too, but I have no particular expectations just like if we were to meet by chance in a bar or something.

I'm looking for: Good communicator, funny, confident, clever, laid back but not a push over. Honest, open minded and tolerant. Athletic is a plus, but at least fit, in good shape. Most importantly, someone who appreciates and enjoys my energy and passion and wont be too embarrassed by my goofy side. :) Age is not really that important to me, just a number, to an extent... although lately I've definitely been attracted to younger men, they just seem to have more verve. (Then again, I've got enough for the both of us, so my "ideal match" may not be that kind of person, maybe someone a bit more mellow would be a better fit? - who knows, we'll see.)
