About me and who I'm looking for

About me:: Sunshine on your face, feels right. Wet sand between your toes on a warm island beach, feels right. Eating new and interesting food in far flung corners of the globe the National Geographic don't even know exist, feels right. Listening to the sweet sounds of Stevie Wonder, The Verve, Emeson, Donald Byrd or Incognito, feels right. Lounging on the sofa while it's blowing a gale outside, watching a DVD with a choice beverage, feels right. Being in the company of family and true friends, feels right...Having someone special to share those moments with...priceless!

At this moment in my life, I can say that I have no regrets, I try and embrace every waking moment, even the mundane ones :-) because ultimately, I believe that is the sum total of life - experiences and memories. I enjoy travelling and I've touched every continent on this planet. Some more than once. I've trekked, swam, pot-holed, snorkeled, white-water rafted, rode horses and relaxed in some of the most awe inspiring places on earth. Travelling was probably one of my greatest achievements to date as it was just such an edifying experience. My career is occupational health related, and although I find it interesting, it doesn't define me. I'm naturally quite enterprising, and I'd much prefer to run my own enterprise (as I have done in the past, and currently in the process of doing so again), than work for someone else. What I do for fun? Well, if I had the money, I'd buy a private jet and fly to a far flung destination of my choosing...every weekend! Ideally somewhere hot. Flying would also be part of the fun, as I like the whole flying experience. Until I get my PPL and aircraft however, I'll have to settle for my drivers license and my reasonably priced car. Tesco's will have to do for now as opposed to Tijuana!
I'm looking for:: At a point in my life now where I would love to share any future experiences with the "other half that makes me whole" :-)
Someone congenial, spiritual (but not necessarily religious) caring, intelligent and witty. Someone who appreciates me without precondition.
