About me: I am simply, complicated... Here I am , about to turn 40, but most think I'm in my 20's. Not a bad thing. I'm a country girl at heart, and my friends say I fall in the "good people" catagory. I work too hard, take on too many projects,and stay up too late. I fall asleep to a good book, and share my bed with 2 big fuzzy dogs. I fall mainly on the feminine side, but you will rarely see me in a skirt. I guess I have always been a tomboy but never butch. I play softball and shoot a pretty good game of 8-ball. I guess I could also mention , since it wasn't listed in occupations, that I am a Police Officer. (that tends to say a lot about someone for some reason... :) I have had too long a break from the relationship scene due to some family illness, which hasn't changed, but I need someone in my life to help me get my life back. I am looking for someone that enjoys life and the simple pleasures. Intellegence is a real turn-on for me. Impress me with your vocabulary or your taste in books. A word of caution, turn-offs are people who use a ten dollar word, but don't use it correctly...YIKES! Just so you know, at first I usually come across a little quiet, but if we have chemistry, I warm-up pretty fast. I like to dance (haven't in a long time...) and if I go to a bar, there has to be something to do, pool tables or a football game on T.V.. My guilty pleasures are that I'm addicted to "The L Word" and "South of Nowhere". Okay, Okay, enough about me... Now, tell me about you...
I'm looking for: You absolutely have to pass my 2 dog test. If they don't like you, something is wrong. (They like 99% of the people they have been introduced to.) But my girls are excellent judges of character.:)
