About me:

I’ve never been married even though I would like to be eventually, I just haven’t met the right woman as of yet, or maybe I have and just didn't realize it at the time. I spent 10 yrs in the U.S. Army, I have one daughter she’s 16 I love her very much she's so beautiful . I work in Baltimore for a major Telecommunication company as a Technical Operations Supervisor and was living there up until September of last year when I decided to move back to Newark, Delaware to be closer to my family, however I still work in Baltimore.

I’m kind of a history buff so I enjoy going to museums, historical places like Williamsburg, Va. Old cities like Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. I also enjoy taking sites seeing tours, shopping, eating at good restaurants wine tasting and just enjoying the energy of a different city, taking a walk thru a scenic park in the fall, I like to have “Matinee Mondays” I’m off on Sunday & Monday and the best time to catch a matinee is Mondays when the kids are back in school and most people have to work, I have the whole theater to myself.I have also become much more health conscious and have begun to change my diet and work out more at the gym. I also really like to travel, one of my favorite travel locations is Europe; I plan on taking a 3 country trip to France, Germany and Italy in the fall of 2010. One of my favorite U.S. locations is Los Angles; and I would also like to go to New Orleans this year. I like R&B music like Donell Jones, Dave Hollister, Luther Vandross, LTD, Teena Marie, Earth Wind & Fire too many to name them all. I don’t really have much time to watch TV but when I do it’s usually crime dramas.

I'm looking for:

I would like to meet a lady who is smart, funny and has a good sense of humor, someone who enjoys and has the ability to talk about various topics. I would like to meet a lady who has her own identity and career, someone who has goals and aspiration and has a plan or at least an ideal on how to achieve them. A lady who is family oriented and has the ability to express herself open and freely, I’m looking for a friend, partner and lover. I’m not looking for a club girl, however I’m not opposed to someone who enjoys going out and hanging with her girlfriends, I just feel that there should be some moderation when you’re involved in a relationship. I’m looking to meet a nice lady who’s looking to take things slow and grow as friends. My ultimate goal is being in a committed relationship leading to marriage, and sharing our lives together, I’m not perfect and I’ve made mistakes in life along the way. However I’ve strived to learn from each mistake and I try not to make the same ones twice. I would just like to meet someone who allows me to be who I am flaws and all, but know that I’m always trying to better myself and my situation. I’ve leaned to be a very good listener and always take into consideration how my actions and decisions will have an impact on the life of the person I’m with; there was a time when I was younger when it was all about me with no regards how my action and decision affected others. But I’ve learned that it leads to a lonely existence.
